1. Personal information we collect

In this Policy, “personal information” refers to any information related to an identified or identifiable individual. In some jurisdictions, this type of information may be referred to as “personal data.” For consistency, this Policy will uniformly use “personal information” to refer to such data. Our processing of your personal information is subject to the data protection laws of specific jurisdictions, and we will provide you with information about the processing of your personal information in accordance with applicable laws and regulations upon your request.

When you use the Services, we will collect and use the personal information necessary to provide the relevant Services in the following manner; if you do not use a particular feature, we will not collect the corresponding information. If you choose not to provide certain information required for a specific feature, you may be unable to use the services associated with that feature; however, this will not affect your ability to use other services we provide.

(1) Personal Information You Provide to Us

Account information. When you register or log in to your Querit account, you must provide us with your full name and email address.

If you choose to link your account with a third-party platform or network, such as logging into your account using your Google account, we will receive relevant information from Google. Such information may include your Google username, profile picture, user ID, email address, and other profile details. This information is subject to the privacy policy of the applicable third-party authentication service provider, and you can view Google’s privacy policy here. In the future, we may support login methods from other service providers. If this occurs, we will share login credentials with these providers and receive the information you have authorized to share with the login provider.

Customer service communication information. When you contact us, we will request you provide us with your name, email address, account information, problem description, and other necessary information that you voluntarily provide. To ensure the security of your account, we will use your account information during customer service to verify your identity. When you need us to provide customer service related to your usage information, we will query your usage information. During your communications with our customer support team, we may also collect call audio recordings and video content for the purpose of handling your service requests. We will also collect and use other information you voluntarily provide during the use of the customer service function to respond to your service requests. If you refuse to provide such information, you will not be able to use the customer service function; however, this will not affect your ability to use other Services we provide.

Commercial and Payment Subscription Information. If you purchase or subscribe to our Services, we will collect information related to the Services you have purchased, obtained, or considered, as well as information related to your payment and subscription. Such information may include your account name, payment time, order records, phone number, and your account login details, financial account, debit card, or credit card number, together with any security code, access code, password, or other credentials required to access your account.

If you choose to use our subscription services, we will collect your information, such information may include your name, region, address, tax number, phone number, and email address.

Other information you provide. We will collect other information you may provide to us, such as when you participate in our activities or surveys, or when you provide information to us to verify your identity or age (collectively referred to as “other information you provide”).

(2) Personal Information We Receive from Your Use of the Services

We automatically collect the following information about you, your computer or mobile device, your network, and your use of the service while providing you with the Services:

Device data. We collect information automatically sent by your browser or device while you use the service, including your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type and settings, the date and time of the request, and how you interact with the Services.

Usage Data. This includes behavioral information about your use of the service, such as clicking, browsing, and editing activity records, page dwell time, the features you use, the actions you perform, your time zone and country (or region), and other interactions with the Services.

We also collect service-related information, diagnostic information, and performance data, including system crash reports and performance logs.

Information We Obtain from Other Sources. We obtain information from trusted partners such as security partners to protect our Services from fraud, abuse, and other security threats. Additionally, marketing vendors provide us with information related to potential commercial service customers, so we also obtain information from marketing vendors.

(3) Special Notes on Sensitive Personal Information

Sensitive personal information generally refers to information related to personal privacy that, if disclosed, could directly impact an individual's legitimate rights and interests, such as political views, religious beliefs, financial information, and health-related information. The scope of sensitive personal information may vary across different jurisdictions.

We do not proactively collect your sensitive personal information when interacting with you. If you do not wish to provide such information, we recommend that you avoid providing information that may involve sensitive personal information, such as health, finances, religious beliefs, or special identities, while using this service. Additionally, we will implement security measures in accordance with applicable law to protect any sensitive personal information you may provide to us.

2. How We Use the Personal Information We Collect

We will only use your personal information as permitted by applicable law. We collect and use your personal information based on the legal grounds of performing our contract with you, protecting our legitimate interests, obtaining your consent, or any other lawful basis stipulated by applicable law. The legal basis for our collection and use of the personal information described in this Policy depends on the type of information we collect and the specific context in which we collect it:

(1) To Provide Our Services. We may process your information when you access or use the Services to:

We may also aggregate or de-identify personal data so that it can no longer be used to identify you, and we may use such information for the purposes described above, such as analyzing how our Services are used, improving and expanding the functionalities of our Services, and conducting research. We will store and use de-identified information in a de-identified form, and we will not attempt to re-identify such information unless required by law.

When we intend to use your personal information for purposes not specified in this Policy, or to use information collected for specific purposes for other purposes, we will seek your prior consent. Please understand that the Services we provide to you will continue to evolve and change. If you choose to use other features not yet listed in this Policy, we will provide you with a detailed explanation of the purpose, method, and scope of information collection through agreements or page prompts before collecting your personal information and obtaining your explicit consent. If you do not agree to provide the aforementioned information, you may not be able to use that service, but it will not affect your use of other Services.

3. How We Use Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and our service providers may use Cookies or similar technologies to collect the above data when you visit our Services. Cookies are text files stored on your device, usually containing an anonymous unique identifier. They are used to uniquely identify your browser or store information or settings in your browser to help you navigate efficiently between pages, remember your preferences, enable features, and help us understand user activity and patterns. • Affiliates and corporate partners. We may disclose the categories of personal information described in this Policy to our affiliates and other related entities, for legitimate business purposes and the operation of the Services, in accordance with applicable law.

• Disclosure as required by applicable law. We may disclose Information if we are legally required to do so, or if we have a good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with a legal obligation, process or request; to enforce our [Terms of Use] and other terms, policies, and standards, including investigation of any potential violation thereof; detect, prevent or otherwise address security, fraud or technical issues; or to protect the rights, property or safety of us, our users, third parties or the public as required or permitted by applicable law (including exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection purposes).

• Change of corporate ownership. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, reorganization, partnership, asset sale or other transaction, we may disclose your information as part of such transaction.

In principle, we collect your personal information within the country or region where you use our products or Services. In line with our global business layout and server deployment strategy, we will process your personal information on servers located in the United States. However, to support our global operations, we may also back up some of your data at our data center located in Singapore for troubleshooting and other technical support. What’s more, your personal information may also be transferred to third-party service providers and business partners, in connection with the purposes set out in this Policy. For this reason, we may transfer personal information to other jurisdictions that may have different laws and data protection compliance requirements to those that apply in the jurisdiction in which you are located. Regardless of where your information is processed, we will apply the same safeguards described in this Policy. We are committed to strictly complying with all applicable laws and implementing security measures that meet local regulatory requirements to ensure that all such transfers are carried out in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

7. How we protect your personal information

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect your personal information against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, unauthorized access, and other unlawful or unauthorized forms of processing, in accordance with applicable law.

(1) Data Access

You have the right to delete your account and erase your personal information. Upon deleting your account, all your personal information will be deleted promptly. If some of your personal information cannot be deleted, we will inform you of the reasons for not taking action.

Please note that we reserve the right to retain some of your personal information where there are valid grounds for us to do so under applicable law.

(5) Opt-out of Marketing Communications

You have the right to object to our processing of your personal information as permitted under applicable law. You may opt out of marketing-related emails and other communications by following the opt-out or unsubscribe instructions in the communications you receive from us or by contacting us as provided in the “Contact Us” section below. You may continue to receive Services-related and other non-marketing emails and messages from us.

(6) Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

We do not “sell” or “share” personal information for cross-contextual behavioral advertising, and we do not process personal information for “targeted advertising” purposes (as those terms are defined under state privacy laws).

(7) Exercise of Rights on Behalf of Deceased Individuals

If a user passes away, the user’s immediate family members may contact us using the information provided in the “Contact Us” section below to exercise the rights to access, copy, correct, or delete the personal information of the deceased user, to the extent necessary for protecting their own lawful and legitimate interests.

(8) Other Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may be entitled to additional rights in relation to your personal information. If you are a California resident, California law may grant you additional rights regarding our use of your personal information. If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act and its implementing regulations (collectively, the “CCPA”) or other California privacy laws described below, may grant you additional rights regarding your personal information. The following additional privacy disclosures may apply to you and allow you to exercise those rights. In the event of any conflict between the general terms of this Privacy Policy and the terms of this Annex, the terms of this Annex shall prevail.

(1) Collection and Use of Your Personal Information. The information collected by us or relevant organizations refers to any information that can identify, relate to, describe, reference, or reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, to a particular consumer, household, or device (“personal information”). We collect personal information from and about you in the preceding twelve (12) months as described in Section 1 above. Specifically：

(D) Commercial Information: including information about products and/or Services that you have purchased, obtained, or considered purchasing via our products and/or Services.

(F) Internet or Other Electronic Network Activity Information: including device data, usage data, service-related information, diagnostic information, and performance data.

(H) Sensory Data: including audio, electronic, visual, or similar information.

(2) Disclosure of Personal Information. We disclose personal information with third parties for business purposes in the preceding twelve (12) months to enable data sharing. Such business-purpose disclosures are made only pursuant to written contracts, which specify the exact business purposes, require the recipient to keep the personal information confidential, and prohibit the recipient from using the information for any purpose other than fulfilling the contractual obligations. Specifically:

• Right to Know.   Currently, we use such information to third-party service providers for the purpose necessary to provide Services to you, complete your payment, and ensure business security. We do not “sell” or “share” (as defined under CCPA) your sensitive personal information. You also have the right to request limitation of use and disclosure of your sensitive personal information, subject to certain exceptions. We will process your request as soon as possible and within 15 business days.

• Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. Based on the definition of “sell” and “share” under CCPA, we do not believe that we engage in such activity and have not engaged in such activity in the past twelve (12) months from the effective date of this Policy.

1. “Shine the Light” Disclosure: California “Shine the Light” law (California Civil Code Section 1798.83) permits California residents to request information regarding the disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. 2. “Do Not Track” Disclosure: We do not monitor, recognize, or respond to any opt-out or Do-Not-Track mechanisms, including general browser “Do Not Track” settings or signals, or other mechanisms that allow consumers to exercise choices about the collection of personally identifiable information relating to their online activities over time and across third-party websites or online services.

We do not charge fees for processing or responding to your verifiable consumer request unless the request is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded, or unless fees are otherwise permitted under the CCPA.
